A new
Sylvan Park Neighborhood sign!
After many years of representing the community, the Sylvan Park neighborhood sign that sat at the intersection of 46th Avenue N and Park Avenue fell into disrepair and needed to be replaced. The Sylvan Park Neighborhood Association (SPNA) underwent a process of soliciting design bids, bringing recommendations to its membership, arranging for funding, and coordinating with all of the project partners to ensure that the neighborhood’s character and preferences were reflected in the new sign.
We’re grateful to Sylvan Park resident Chris Veit for his design of the new sign, which brought us a beautiful new structure while allowing consistency with other signage throughout Sylvan Park. Funding for the sign was provided through contributions to the SPNA neighborhood improvement fund and support from the Metro Beautification and Environment Commission.
