It all began with an idea…
The Sylvan Park Neighborhood Association has undertaken a project to enhance the entrance of McCabe Park, near the Sylvan Park round-about, by developing a Pollinator Garden. This initiative aims to support local biodiversity by providing a habitat for bees, butterflies, and other pollinators critical to the ecosystem. The garden will feature a variety of native flowering plants known to attract and sustain pollinator populations throughout the growing season.
By improving this area, the association hopes to increase community awareness of the importance of pollinators, promote environmental stewardship, and create a welcoming, vibrant green space for residents and visitors to enjoy. Volunteers and neighborhood members interested in participating or learning more about the project are encouraged to reach out to the association for upcoming events and planting days.
